The Birch Aquarium is open for extended summer hours from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM daily. The aquarium currently requires reservations for future visits and facial coverings must be worn inside.

Take the Beach Trail, a .75-mile trail that descends 300 feet to the beach, and revel in unspoiled ocean views. Depending on when you go, you might even have the beach mostly to yourself. It’s a great spot to relax with a picnic lunch, and can make for terrific photo opportunities, even if you’re traveling solo! Pro tip: if there’s no one you can ask to take a photo, bring a cheap tripod for your phone and take your own photo using a ten-second timer!
