La Jolla is lovely in the fall, and the fun hits a high note when October comes to town. Enjoy the beautiful sights of La Jolla by exploring the beaches during the day, and then, when evening hits, check out these awesome Halloween events in San Diego that we’ve been waiting all year for:

Haunted Halloween Cruise

This will be the 2nd annual Six String Society – Haunted Halloween Cruise. You’re in for a treat if you attend this party. Six bands are scheduled to play, and with three spacious levels to spread out on, you’ll be comfy while you dance. The ship is just old-fashioned and spooky enough to get you a head start on your Halloween spirit.

When: Sat, October 12 @ 5:00pm – 11:00pm

Where: 998 West Mission Bay Drive

Comic Popup Presents: Halloween Expo

There will be over 30 vendors here with Halloween-themed booths to explore, and lots of niche things you won’t find anywhere else in town, like kombucha on tap, silicone mask demos, and pumpkin carving demos from experts. Plus, you’ll get to hear the live music stylings of the Down the River band while you mill around. Make sure to purchase your tickets ahead of time! It’s definitely one of the best Halloween events in San Diego!

When: Sat, Oct 19 @ 1:00pm – 8:00pm

Where: Quartyard, 1301 Market St

Hard Rock Halloween

Three floors, five rooms, and live music to fill the entire space; this five-hour party is worth the wait every year! Last year they put on a chilling reenactment of Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey that left us all creeped out and extremely ready for Halloween a couple of days later. Who knows what spooky live show they’ll put on for us this year?

When: Sat, Oct 26 @ 9:00pm – Sun, Oct 20th @ 2:00am

Where: Hard Rock Hotel San Diego

San Diego Zombie Crawl Meets Day of the Dead

You’ve probably heard of the Zombie Crawl. It’s one of the top three San Diego Halloween events in all of southern California, and it’s the most fun you’ll have all year. It’s a visitor-friendly event, and an awesome way to experience the nightlife of San Diego and all the amazing dining options in the vivacious Gaslamp Quarter. Come for Halloween and stay for Day of the Dead for a reprise of the festivities on November 1st and 2nd.

When: Oct 25, 26, & 31 @ 6:00pm – 2:00am

Where: American Junkie, 628 Fifth Ave
