The Beachcomber Family Retreat is located just 2 blocks from Tourmaline Beach.
Tourmaline beach is made up of mostly sandy beaches with easy access to the water.
Tourmaline is a well-known surf spot in the north Pacific Beach area of San Diego and a favorite of many locals.
It goes by many names such as Tourmaline, Tourmaline Surfing Park and Old Man’s and has a rich history in San Diego’s surf culture and well-known connections to local surfing legends.
The Beachcomber Family Retreat is made up of 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It is comprised of 2 separate cottages separated by a driveway and garages. Both cottages have Queen size beds in the Primary bedrooms with Smart TV’s and 2 twin beds in each guest bedroom.
Each cottage has one bathroom with a shower tub combo in each bathroom.
There are 2 propane BBQ’s, a firepit and lots of outdoor seating and dining areas. From one of the Cottages there are water views.
Both living rooms have smart TV’s, dining areas and comfy couches.
Both Kitchens are fully equipped for all your cooking needs.
Load up your beach wagon and walk down to the beach without having the hassle of finding a park, staying here, you are truly living the life of a local.
Watch the sunset with a cocktail and cheese plate right in your front yard.
It is an easy stroll to all the popular spots that Pacific Beach has to offer.
Pacific Beach is a relaxed neighborhood by the beach, popular with sunbathers and surfers. Trendy hotel bars and casual cafes line the boardwalk, while Mission Boulevard and the surrounding streets are dotted with women’s clothing boutiques, yoga studios and casual drinking spots that draw a young, bar-hopping crowd. Inland, the grassy slope of Kate Sessions Park has sweeping views of the city and San Diego Bay.

Parking for 2 cars in the driveway. Additional parking on the street, however please be mindful of the signs for street sweeping, etc.
PET CONSIDERED
Pets may be allowed if the pet has been approved by Management and a nonrefundable Pet Fee has been paid. Fee will be added to reservation total before confirming. Pet Fee: $40/Night, $250/Wk or $300/Month (Per Pet).

This homes sleeps 8 people. Maximum occupancy is strictly enforced.
This is a NON-SMOKING home. This includes outside areas.
This home is not equipped with A/C.
Please respect your surrounding neighbors. Our rental agreement includes a no tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy and/or parties. Evictions are strictly enforced if at any time our guests choose to disregard this rule. All our properties are equipped with noise monitors.
For homes that allow pets there are certain rules that always apply. Pets are never to be left alone in the homes uncrated if they are prone to check, bark or are not house broken. If you plan on spending time away from your pets please find a doggy day care or crate your pet. Any damage caused by your pet is not covered under your damage insurance. You can call our office for recommendations or check the Welcome Book.
